so i couldnt say no when Sirin (my extremely genius classmate slash birthday twin) suggested that we spend the day studying and painting on my rooftop. she provided the paints, canvases and music... i provided the rooftop, incense and ice cream. Drew (our very chiseled ex-army heart throb school friend) quizzed us on quantitative research sampling methods while the Pixies played in the background. ps. i never really listen to this kind of music but the song Caribou really spoke to me... and it pretty much motivated me to paint the most absurd piece of art.SO anyways, Sirin painted an interpretation of her recent dream... (hers is not done) while i worked on a birthday present for my cuppy cupcake Lauren. it started out as a cupcake but i clearly didnt stop there
... umm.... i dont really know if i can call my creation a piece of art, but it was my very first painting and although it is a cupcake on a birds back flying through a mexican birthday party, i am still quite proud and for whatever its worth it made me feel centered
