cherish the day

omg the most highly anticipated album of my life since the last album i was highly anticipating.

Sade... the woman of all women... she is like so amazing, her songs speak thoughts i didnt even know i had... and her music sounds like nature. i fucking love her and im so excited for this. 

AND her lyrics are so simple and peaceful but so powerful and deep just like love itself! 

AAANNNDDD the album is called Soldier of Love... shoot, if there is any fight on earth ill partake in... its that one. for all love soldiers everywhere... coming soon on FEB 8 2010!!! 

i tried to pick my favorite song to share but 30 minutes later i had played like 10 songs.. and was singing along to "Maureen" when i remembered i was mid-blog writing. so yea, sorry i got all swept away... but i did realize another reason i love Sade so much... bc theres way too many women performers out there that whine about getting fucked over and heartbroken blablahblah. i hate that shit... like get over it bitches, no one wants to sit around and mope, ya dig? Sade is like so sure of herself and the love she has... like when she says:

"your love is king, crown you with my heart" 

so good. i love it. anyways ladies, times are a changin... and its hard to remember whats up with love when songs like the one i just heard on the radio say: (shame on u Ray J) "i think u need to close yo mouth cuz u aint gonna tie me down"... oh hell no. lets not get it twisted. 

its time for a new revolution ladies. not a feminist one (cuz i would have been fine baking pies and ironing my mans pants)... but like a real Love revolution. hmmm... maybe this new Sade album could be the soundtrack for this movement i have created.
