i had way too much fun with my 13yr lil homie Willem the other day... i knew it would be great when he said to me (under his breath in the most embarrassed of ways): "so there was nothing on TV so i watched all these Martha Stewart halloween craft shows on On Demand". BAM! that was it. clearly i had already seen them all too... so with my car and his cash flow we got our creative vibes on. im not used to handing down my Creative Director role... but ive known this kid for years and he is quite the artiste.
first i picked him up from his bougie private school... of course i took pictures of myself and my new bangs in the car while i waited for him. oh and of course i was knitting bc thats all i do these days...
Then we hit up the local pumpkin patch... located a block from the Piedmont Ave. cemetary where Mac Dre is buried... but we didnt have time to go find him there
Willem carved the pumpkin while i made pumpkin seeds and tweeted/went through all his moms current magazine subscriptions. he never lets me take pics of him... he's such a guy.
We worked on a large pumpkin crow and some clothespin bats. they were pretty awesome. we had to do some spray painting in the garage... and debated spraying the pumpkins black, but we didnt. YAY what a fun day. i cant believe i got paid to do this.
and the weather was so breezy. why cant life always be this easy.
